| Résumé | Cette étude a pour objet la Réunification allemande. Dans un premier temps, l’étude se concentre sur un aperçu politique, économique et archivistique de l’Allemagne avant 1989, ensuite sur le processus politique de la Réunification. La première partie aborde les conséquences administratives et culturelles de la Réunification, avec l’exemple des bibliothèques. La seconde partie aborde le thème du renouveau des archives. Elle mesure la place des archives dans la Réunification et le travail des archivistes et des autorités afin de conserver, gérer et communiquer les archives dans une Allemagne unifiée. Une étude comparative avec la Pologne permet de mettre en évidence le travail effectué en Allemagne concernant les archives de l’ex-RDA. Enfin, cette étude se termine par un aperçu des archives et de leur organisation en Allemagne aujourd’hui. Cette partie aborde aussi le thème du métier d’archiviste en Allemagne. |
| Résumé en anglais | This study has for object the German Unification. On the first hand, the study focuses on the politic, economic and archival situation before 1989, and on the other hand, on the politic process of the German Unification. The first part approaches the administrative and cultural consequences, illustrated by the changes caused in libraries. The second part develops the renwal of the German archives during the process of Unification. The second part also shows the work of archivists and the authorities in the process of conservation, management and communication of the archives, in a newly unified Germany. Acomparative study with Poland brings to light the work that was done in Germany, with the ex-GDR archives. Finally this study gives an overview of the archives and their organisation in Germany today. This part of the study also focuses on the archives as a career. |
