Né en 1957, dans le Centre international de recherches sur l’anarchisme (CIRA) à Lausanne (Suisse) est un lieu unique dans le paysage archivistique. Pourtant il n’a pas encore fait l’objet d’une étude archivistique. Ce centre conserve des ouvrages, brochures, éphémères et archives sur le mouvement libertaire, provenant du monde entier. Depuis plus de soixante ans, le centre a dû s’adapter à des changements importants d’un point de vue historique et méthodologique. Nous étudierons ici les usages du CIRA et son imbrication dans le paysage militant et archivistique suisse et international.
Born in 1957, the International Center for Research on Anarchism (CIRA) in Lausanne (Switzerland) is a unique place in the archival landscape. However, it has not yet been the subject of an archival study. This center preserves books, brochures, ephemera, and archives on the anarchist movement from around the world. For over sixty years, the center has had to adapt to significant changes from a historical and methodological perspective. Here, we will study the uses of CIRA and its integration into the Swiss and international militant and archival landscape.
