| Résumé | Introduction : depuis 2016, la simulation à l’annonce de mort fœtale in utéro a été intégrée à la journée de simulations d’urgences obstétricales proposée aux étudiantes sages-femmes de 5ème année et aux internes de gynécologie-obstétrique d’Angers. Objectifs : recueillir les impressions et les opinions des apprenants sages-femmes par rapport à cette formation. L’objectif secondaire était d’obtenir des axes d’amélioration pour pouvoir développer cette formation dans les années ultérieures. Matériel et méthode : cette étude qualitative a été réalisée entre le 5 décembre 2017 et le 14 février 2018 auprès de 6 sages-femmes diplômées de l’école de sage-femme d’Angers de 2016 et de 2017. Les données ont été recueillies par l’intermédiaire d’entretiens semi-directifs réalisés à la faculté de santé d’Angers, au CHU d’Angers, ou par Skype. Résultats : les sages-femmes ont apprécié le réalisme du scénario de la simulation notamment grâce à la présence d’une patiente simulée. Elles ont pris conscience des enjeux de l’annonce tant chez le couple, que chez le soignant, mais ne se sentent pas prêtes à annoncer seule la mort fœtale in utéro. Discussion : la simulation à l’annonce est une méthode pédagogique plus formatrice que les cours théoriques. L’HAS préconise de développer la simulation dans le domaine de la gynécologie-obstétrique pour le DPC et de former les professionnels à l’annonce. Conclusion : la simulation à l’annonce de mort fœtale in utéro est un bon outil pédagogique pour former les sages-femmes à l’annonce. Elle pourrait être proposée à l’avenir aux professionnels de santé de gynécologie-obstétrique. |
| Résumé en anglais | Introduction : since 2016, the simulation at the announcement of in utero foetal death is integrated into the obstetrical emergency simulation day offered to 5th year midwife students and to junior doctors in gynaecology-obstetric from Angers. Objectives : collect the impressions and opinions of midwife students in relation to this training. The secondary objective was to get an improvement basis in order to further develop this training in the upcoming years. Material and method : this qualitative study has been conducted between December 5th 2017 and February 14th 2018 with 6 midwives who graduated from the midwifery school of Angers in 2016 and 2017. The data has been collected through semi-directive interviews realized at the Angers faculty of health, at the teaching hospital of Angers and via Skype. Results : the midwives have appreciated the realism of the simulation scenario, particularly thanks to the presence of a simulated patient. They became aware of the stake of the announcement, to the couple, and to the nursing staff, but they do not feel ready to announce alone the in utero foetal death yet. Discussion : the simulation at the announcement is a more effective teaching method than theoretical classes. The HAS recommends to develop the simulation in the field of gynaecology-obstetric for the CPD and to train professionals to the announcement. Conclusion : the simulation to the announcement of in utero foetal death is a good teaching tool in order to train midwives to this announcement. It could be offered in the future to health gynaecology-obstetric professionals. |
