Analyse, gestion et implantation d’atelier

My end-of-year internship, which runs from April 10th to June 23rd, is for the purpose of validating my DUT in mechanical engineering and production automation. To find it I sent letters of motivation and CVs to various entrepreneurs in the field of industry. The S2C company contacted me for a physical interview. The purpose of this interview was to explain to me what the mission they had to offer me and if it suited me. It consists in setting up and following up the 5S process, which we mentioned in court, within their store. I found that for a first real experience in the field of work, it could be enriching and interesting, so I accepted. My internship was subsequently validated by Mrs Guichard. The first week of my internship, I had to analyze the existing. That is to say to me to realize the work to be done, to make the inventory before my construction site. So I took pictures and made an inventory of everything in the space that I have to arrange and then sort them out and arrange them properly. Secondly I modeled the existing one on a modeling software, SolidWorks. I took all the necessary measurement in the workshop to be able to put everything on the computer. After this phase of modeling of the existing I started in the research of development solutions to find the best possible implantation. I had to take into account all the objects to put inside the enclosure, the place won and pay attention to the possible handling. Three solutions emerged. By doing the advantages and disadvantages of each I selected one that I proposed to the members of the company during a meeting. After the theoretical validation, place to practice. We had to put two on the job site to move the wardrobe and set up the new wire fence ordered. The project lasted about two or three weeks. The last part is to set up communication systems to facilitate the acceptance of the change and keep this storage. This internship allowed me to realize that it is not in this field that I will make a career later. I am more interested in doing design or research and development in a design office.
