Introduction : l’Hospitalisation À Domicile (HAD) est une entité en pleine expansion, dans un système de soins tourné vers l’ambulatoire. La population vieillissante ayant le souhait d’une fin de vie au domicile est aussi grandissante. L’HAD est là pour répondre à ces besoins. Le médecin généraliste a été pensé comme le pivot de cette hospitalisation particulière. L’objectif de notre étude a été d’interroger les médecins généralistes mayennais concernant leur lien avec leur antenne HAD.
Méthodes : il s’agit d’une étude quantitative, observationnelle, transversale descriptive, interrogeant les médecins généralistes installés en Mayenne de mai à juillet 2023 à l’aide d’un questionnaire en ligne. Les données ont été analysées par le site BiostaTGV.
Résultats : cette étude quantitative a permis de faire remonter des tendances parmi la population répondante. La
moitié des répondants s’estiment suffisamment informés sur l’aide proposée par l’HAD. Les médecins généralistes mayennais travaillent avec l’HAD pour améliorer la qualité de vie des patients et des familles. Ils sont 70% à trouver leur place dans la prise en charge HAD de leurs patients. Ils sont surtout freinés par l'aspect chronophage de ces prises en charge. Ils souhaiteraient un développement de l’HAD sur la thématique des soins palliatifs et de la fin de vie.
Conclusion : améliorer encore la communication entre médecin traitant et HAD semble primordial. Il serait intéressant de se pencher sur les médecins ne travaillant pas avec l’HAD afin d'optimiser la prise en charge du patient au domicile.
Introduction : hospital At Home (AHA)/ Home care? is a growing entity in a health system turned toward ambulatory care. The aging population wishing an end of life at home is also growing. The AHA is here to answer these needs and the general practitioner was thought of as a linchpin in this specific hospitalization. The purpose of the study is to ask general practitioners from Mayenne about the link with their AHA’s branch via an online questionnaire.
Methods : this is a quantitative, observational, transverse and descriptive study, questioning general practitioners installed in Mayenne from May to July 2023 by online questionnaire. Data was analyzed by the BiostaTGV site.
Results : this quantitative study allowed us to show trends among the answering population. Half of the answers
assess that the information given by the AHA is enough. The GP works with the AHA to improve the quality of life of patients and families. 70% of them find their place in the AHA care of their patients. They are essentially curbed by the aspect time-consuming of this care. However, they would wish for a better development of the AHA about palliative care and end of life.
Conclusion : improving the communication between GP and AHA looks essential. It would be interesting to focus
on the doctors who do not work with AHA therewith to optimise the care of the patient at home.
