Dans le cadre du nouveau programme de renouvellement urbain acté par la loi du 21 février 2014, certains quartiers font l’objet d’un programme de démolition – reconstruction, visant à faciliter l’introduction d’une mixité sociale dans des quartiers cumulant les difficultés sociales et économiques. Des habitants, concernés par la démolition de leur logement, doivent donc déménager. Ce mémoire vise à comprendre si les individus disposent de supports spécifiques dans le cadre de ce déménagement, qui devient alors lui-même support de l’individu ou si au contraire, le déménagement représente une menace pour les individus et leur capacité à se tenir face au monde et à développer des stratégies spécifiques pour y parvenir. Il apparait que les supports
sont inégalement répartis selon les individus et qu’un même support renforcera l’individu face au changement induit par un déménagement, alors que d’autres, qui sont support de l’individu à un moment de son existence, peuvent devenir des anti-supports à un autre, dans un contexte particulier.
Within the scope of the new urban renewal programme enacted by the law of February 21, 2014, some districts will undergo a programme of demolition -reconstruction aiming to promote the introduction of social mixing in districts which encounter both social and economic issues. Inhabitants whose apartment will be demolished will have to move out. This dissertation aims to understand whether the individuals have specific supports (at their disposal) in the context of that move, which then becomes the individual's own support or, on the contrary, the move is seen as a threat for the individuals and their ability to cope with the world and develop specific strategies to do so. It appears that the supports are unequally assigned to the individuals and that the same support will reinforce the individual facing up to the changes a move induces, while other supports, which are the support of the individual at some point of his existence, can become counter-supports at another point, in a specific context.
