| Résumé | Aujourd'hui, les approches concernant les questions d'identité territoriale sont nombreuses dans le monde scientifique et dans nos sociétés. Définir l'identité territoriale d'un espace urbain implique de s'interroger sur les notions d'espaces perçus et vécus d'une population afin de comprendre les relations entre un territoire et ses habitants. Ces mêmes relations peuvent parfois évoluées au fil des années, notamment lorsque certains projets urbains modifient l'espace en profondeur comme les opérations de rénovation urbaine (ORU).
Ces ORU mises en place au début des années 2000, dans le cadre de la loi dite d'orientation et de programmation pour la ville et la rénovation urbaine, ont pour objectif principal de permettre de profondes mutations dans des zones sensibles afin d'améliorer le cadre de vie des habitants. L'évolution du cadre de vie conduit dans une certaine mesure à l'évolution de l'identité du territoire concerné.
Ce mémoire se focalise donc sur l'évolution de l'identité territoriale d'un espace urbain ayant fait l'objet d'une rénovation urbaine. Pour se faire, l'étude s'appuie sur une ORU réalisée sur la commune de Trélazé, connue pour son passé industriel et pour la présence de grands ensembles datant des années 1960. L'approche développée est influencée par le paysage, les perceptions des habitants sur leur espace de vie et enfin sur la construction du territoire par les acteurs.

| Résumé en anglais | Today, the approaches concerning the questions of territorial identity are numerous in the scientific world and in our societies. To define the territorial identity of an urban space implies to wonder about the notions of areas perceived and lived on a population to realize the relations between a territory and the inhabitants. The same relations can sometimes evolved over the years, in particular when urban projects modify the space in depth as the operations of urban renovation (ORU).
This ORU organized at the beginning of 2000s, framework of the said law of orientation and programming for the city and the urban renovation, has for the main objective to allow profound transfers in problem area to improve the living environment of inhabitants. The evolution of the living environment to a certain extent to the evolution of the identity of the concerned territory.
This dissertation done for research degree focuses on the evolution of the territorial identity of an urban space have been the object of an urban renovation the object of an urban renovation. To be made, the study leans on an ORU realized on the municipality of Trélazé, known for industrial history past and for the presence of complexes dating of 1960. The approach, in this study, influenced by the landscape, the perceptions of inhabitants on their living space and finally on the construction of the territory by the actors.
